Privacy Policy

Reframe is a personal CBT thought-record tool. Your mental health data is private by default — we do not sell it, share it, or use it for advertising.
What We Store
- Thought records you create (situation, thoughts, emotions, distortions, alternative thoughts)
- Mood check-ins
- Program and quiz progress
- Feedback you submit in-app
- Your account email (if you sign up with email or Google) — or a pseudonymous identifier if you use the anonymous mode
We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, or payment details. Anonymous accounts are identified only by a randomly-generated code you can save for recovery.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide the Reframe service — saving records, showing your progress stats, and enabling sharing with therapists you choose. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for any purpose.
Data Storage & Security
All data is stored on Supabase servers in the EU (Ireland), encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Row-level security policies ensure only you can read or modify your own data.
Cookies & Analytics
We use one essential session cookie to keep you logged in (set by Supabase Auth). We use Plausible Analytics for anonymous, cookieless page-view counts — no personal data is collected and no tracking cookies are set.
The Android app (free tier) uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and use them to show personalised ads, subject to Google's privacy policy. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
Sharing
You control sharing. When you create a share link, only someone with both the link and the password you set can view that record. You can delete share links at any time from the record detail page.
Your Rights (GDPR)
- Export — download all your data (thought records, mood entries, program progress, quiz scores) as JSON from Settings
- Delete — permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings. This removes all records, your account credentials, and any share links you created.
- Rectification — contact us to correct inaccurate account information
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all data is permanently erased within 24 hours.
